What it is the DAX Index?DAX (abbreviated from Deutscher Aktienindex) is a Blue Chip stock market index consisting of the 30 major German companies trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Prices are taken from the electronic Xetra trading system.How to get real-Time DAX Index data?In February 2006 "Deutsche Börse" stopped the free access to Real-Time DAX prices for the public and allows only a 15 minutes delayed view of the DAX.Therefore we introduce our "Real-Time DAX Monitor" which is based on free and public available Future prices of the DAX Performance Index (WKN: 846900). You will see the actual DAX typically 30 to 60 seconds delayed. Data will be automatically updated every 30 seconds. Technical stuffThe DAX Monitor is a plain AJAX-Application that needs little resources of your computer and bandwidth. |
